First Class - Joining Brothers & Sisters churchbegins withattending first class and all new members are expected to attend. During this class Pastor Brown discusses who we are as a church and what we are all about. First class will generally be offered on the first Sunday of each month. Following the class you will have the opportunity to meet one of our team members to discuss the next step to becoming a member. If you’d like to participate in the first class please speak with our Executive Administrator to set an appointment.
Second Class - is our decision counseling time. We want to know who you are and how God has been at work in your life. Also, it will be explained what responsibilities are expected out of members in the congregation. Everyone interested in joining will meet the ministry staff and ask questions about their particular ministry as you familiarize yourself with our church family.
Third Class - is ourbaptismclass. Scriptures call for believers to be baptized by immersion following salvation. When a believer is immersed below the surface into water it portrays to observers that Christ died and was buried. As the person is raised up out of the water, it symbolizes the resurrection of Christ Jesus. (1Corinthians 15:3 and 4).
Ceremony - After a member has completed the membership class and is baptized it is customary for the Church to recognize the new convert by giving the member a church membership certificate and Bible. The new Saint is formerly presented to the Church.
